Andrew Weitzman

Andrew was born in Plainview, NY but always knew his calling was where the warm weather lives. After applying to 18 schools (and getting into each one) he knew University of Florida is where he was meant to be.

Andrew graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. While in school, he was given an offer at Arthur Andersen (no need to get into details on what happened here). Andrew picked himself up quickly and landed a job with PricewaterhouseCoopers. After a wonderful three and a half years at PWC he ventured his career into hedge funds, having now worked at Och Ziff Capital Management for over 10 years.

As much as Andrew loves UF and the gators, Manhattan is very close behind. Shortly after moving to Manhattan, he met his beautiful wife where they got married in an intimate wedding in Cancun, Mexico (to continue the warm weathered theme).

Andrew, his wife Daniela and their 12 pound Maltese, Louis, currently reside in the financial district. During Andrew’s down time, he loves traveling, making sure to find his way to Gainesville at least once a year for a game. Other recent world travels have included Chile, Peru, Prague, Hungary & Croatia.... Where to next?
