We welcome Gotham Gators to an exclusive volunteer project at The Food Bank For New York City. 

Nearly 1 in 5 New Yorkers relies on the Food Bank for food and other resources. Some of the most important work done in the fight to end hunger is performed by volunteers like you.

At The Weekend Repack project, Gator volunteers can expect to sort, pack, box, weigh, and label to get these much-needed food items out the door to fellow New Yorkers.

The Bronx Food Distribution Warehouse distributes food to kitchens and pantries throughout the five boroughs, supplying 400,000 meals to New Yorkers in need each day!

ATTIRE: Volunteers are required to wear closed toed shoes , shirts with sleeves, and pants (NO shorts) . We encourage Gators to wear ORANGE / BLUE  .

VOLUNTEER INFO: You should not bring excessive personal items. Plan your route to the Bronx in advance.  Arrive promptly at 10:00am.
